Mandurah Solar Panels

Rebates available in Mandurah

Mandurah is served by Synergy, so households installing a battery can claim the WA Residential Battery Scheme rebate of up to $1,300 alongside the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount. New panels also earn small-scale technology certificates that come straight off the price. Our rebate calculator shows the combined figure for your battery size before you ask for a quote.

Local conditions

Mandurah is about an hour south of Wangara. Canal homes, retirees on fixed incomes and holiday properties all use power differently, so we size each system for its actual pattern rather than a standard package, and we allow for salt exposure on the waterfront.

How your Mandurah solar panels installation runs

We start with your recent bills and a roof check, then design a system around when you actually use power rather than a fixed package. You get a fixed-price quote with the rebates already deducted and the payback period spelled out. Once you approve it, we lodge the grid connection with Western Power, book the install and commission the system with monitoring switched on. Most residential installs are completed in a single day, with grid approval typically taking a few weeks beforehand.

After the install

Every system comes with the manufacturer warranties on the panels, inverter and battery, plus ongoing support from a local team that is still here years later. If output ever drops, monitoring alerts us and we can usually diagnose the cause remotely before sending someone out. To talk through options for your home, contact Perth Solar Direct or call 1300 477 172 and ask for a Mandurah quote.

Is a battery worth adding?

For most Mandurah homes the answer depends on how much of your daily use happens after sunset. If the evening load is large, a battery of 10 kWh or more paired with the current rebates usually pays back faster than panels alone would suggest. If you are out all day and light on evening use, a well-sized array with a smaller battery, or none at all, may be the better first step. We will show both options side by side in the quote.
